If you are planning a big party where you’ll be expecting numerous vehicles to enter Bonita Isle, then you MUST make arrangements for accommodating those vehicles. It is the resident’s responsibility to instruct their guests on how and where to park. Your guests are not permitted to park contrary to the Association parking rules. |

So, where should my guests park if I’m out of space?
The long-time tradition in Bonita Isle has been to ask your neighbors to lend you a parking spot or two during a large party. If you ask, you’ll find that most of your neighbors are happy to loan you a spot or two for a few hours. Then at some later date, perhaps you can return the favor. During the summer months, you may find an available driveway belonging to an out-of-town snowbird. Check with them before they leave for the season. Make sure your guests know which addresses are available for parking and that they follow the rules listed above.
If you have not already done so, this is an excellent reason to get to know your neighbors!
Towing: Although we are loathe to do it, the Association is legally able to tow any vehicle that is improperly parked. That includes resident and guest vehicles. Please don’t subject your guest’s vehicles to possible towing because they didn’t know our parking rules.

- No parking on the grass, not even partially with two wheels. This includes the grass along the street and along the length of the driveway.
- No parking on the street.
- Do not block the sidewalk or any part of the street when parking on a driveway (usually this would be the apron). Pedestrians walking on the sidewalk must be able to cross a driveway without being obstructed or forced to detour to the street or grass.
